Sunday 20 December 2026 · Palazzo Parisio, Naxxar · 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM · Free entry
The Christmas edition of Malta Artisan Markets is the busiest market of our year. It fills the halls, terrace and gardens of Palazzo Parisio in Naxxar with Maltese artists, craftspeople and small food producers — a place to buy gifts that were actually made on the island rather than imported.

Stalls are spread across the Ballroom, Sala Lombarda, the terrace and the library, so the market runs whatever the December weather does. Expect handmade jewellery, ceramics, candles, prints, textiles and homeware alongside festive artisan food — preserves, honey, chocolates, baked goods and Maltese sweets.
Our December market has previously been hosted at the Phoenicia and other historic venues; see photographs from past editions in the gallery.

Palazzo Parisio sits on Victory Square in the centre of Naxxar, reachable by bus from Valletta, Sliema and Mosta. Street parking around the square fills up quickly on market days, so arriving earlier in the afternoon is easier.
Christmas is one of nine market Sundays in 2026. See the full list of dates and venues in our guide to markets in Malta, or the St Julian's market page.
Places are limited and applications close about a month before the event.
